Don’t forget that tomorrow, Maundy Thursday, at 7pm we will have a special Tenebrae service as we prepare for Easter weekend. If you’ve never been to a Tenebrae service, it’s a service of Scripture readings and hymns focusing on the final moments of Christ’s life. As we read, sing, and pray together the sanctuary is slowly plunged into darkness, reminding us of the darkness that fell over the earth as Jesus died. Tenebrae is a beautiful and haunting service that has been around since the 4th century, and we are glad to have an opportunity to experience it at Redeemer.
Please join us if you can at 7pm!
