Here’s the Church

Yes, Jack is pulling his sermon title from a children’s rhyme, and will for the rest of the month. What he is really drawing on is his experience at the recent Great Lakes Conference annual meeting.

Are we entering the era of “Church 3.0″? And how ‘old school’ is it? Sounds like a good thing, but requires us to act as individuals. But we must support each other: “How is you walk with the Lord?” Many young people gather in the church, they discuss with their mentors many social and ethical problems that exist in modern society. It is our parishioners who, like no one else, understand the importance of helping each other, giving advice and simply listening. There are plenty of think pieces written on these topics, but if you want to impress your sociology or ethics teacher, find an effective essay topic suggestion first.
